NATIONAL JOBLINK
National Joblink (NJL) is a premier registered training organisation which has served the Tasmanian Community for the past 30 years. We are now operating throughout Queensland, and the Northern Territory. Over the years we have offered a diverse range of services to the community. We are a not-for-profit organisation that is owned by the community.

JOE HARROLD - MANAGING DIRECTOR
Joe arrived at NJL to take up the General Managers role in August 1997. He had come from Armidale, NSW where he had spent the last 10 years on the Local Council. He was Deputy Mayor of Armidale from 1989 to 1991 and Mayor from 1993 to 1995. Joe was also involved in various other organisations where he was inaugural Chairman of The Northpower Consultative Committees, Deputy Chair of the NSW Gas Advisory Committee and an establishing member of the New England Energy Efficient Task-force. Joe has a BA with majors in Politics and Philosophy and a Diploma in Small Business Management. He is also a Justice of the Peace.
Emma Dickens - CEO
Emma has been employed by NJL for 24 years having started in 1999 undertaking administration support for the RTO. After about 6 months Emma moved into supporting the Jobs Pathway Program (JPP) team staff, from here Emma enjoyed Youth Work roles under the banner of JPP, Youth Connections and Youth Pathways for about 6 years. In 2007 an opportunity to move interstate to Queensland saw Emma enter into a dual role of Coordinating Internal Job-Search Training Programs across 130+ sites, as well as managing sales invoicing for several not-for-profit organisations under the parent company. Returning to Tasmania In 2009 Emma became Operations Manager for NJL managing all things HR, IT and Finance. Emma then became the Chief Operating Officer before being appointed the CEO for NJL in July of 2020.
Linda Smith - Chief Operating Officer
Linda has previously worked in Administrative and Education roles. She holds Business and TAE qualifications. Linda commenced employment with NJL in April 2016 working as a Youth Mentor and Trainer. From this point she was asked to assist in the coordination of programs across the North West Coast of Tasmania and lead our ParentsNext services. Linda moved to Launceston in 2019 where she was appointed Launceston Office Manager for an interim period of time. On 1st July, 2020, Linda became the new Chief Operating Officer for NJL.
Clare Davey - Fitzroy Manager
Clare has been employed by NJL since 2012 as a Business Development Manager in Cairns, QLD and moved to Fitzroy – Central Queensland in 2014 undertaking the Business Development Role and tender writing. Upon winning Transition to Work and EST PaTH Contracts in the Fitzroy region Clare has taken on the role of Fitzroy Manager. Clare has a background in WHS, Retail and over 18 years in the training and employment services industry, with much of her career working in regional and remote communities in Qld and the NT. Clare has a Graduate Certificate in Career Development Practice and is a professional member of the Australian Centre for Career Education (ACCE).
John Braslin - Northern Tasmanian Business Manager
John has been employed by NJL for over 9 years having started at the beginning of 2013 as a Youth Connections consultant and later in that year as the Work for a Week Coordinator. At the start of 2016 John moved into the role as NW Business Development Manager and recently moved into his current role as NW Tasmania Manager.
John has a background in logistics and the metal trades working for Caterpillar for 15 years and is working towards completing a Bachelor of Educational studies.
Kim Homer - Cairns Manager
Kim joined NJL in July 2012 and is our Region Manager in Cairns and also heads up our RTO (Registered Training Organisation) being responsible for the overall compliance of our RTO with ASQA Management Standards. Kim also leads our dynamic Cairns, QLD team to deliver PaTH EST Activities throughout the region.

Andrew Jones - Southern Tasmanian Business Manager
Andrew joined NJL in December 2020 as Program Manager for the Southern Tasmania and Launceston regions. Andrew has worked in employment services for the last 15 years and has undertaken a range of roles including business development, management and staff learning and development. Prior to employment services, Andrew’s enjoyed a generalist career in Human Resource Management, predominantly within the retail industry. Andrew has a BA with majors in Sociology and English.
Ange Todhunter - Darwin Manager
Ange joined NJL in July 2022, with over 22 years in customer service, business, and people management with extensive knowledge in business development and people engagement. Having spent the last 9 years working for 2 International Companies developing and implementing strategic partnerships to ensure the growth and success of her customers, Ange decided it was time for a change and saw an opportunity for her to put her skills to work with the ParentsNext program with NJL and leading the NT team.
Ange is passionate about people development and supporting her team in a collaborative way and encourages them to develop a solution-based approach to work and ‘thinking outside the box‘ is welcomed and appreciated. Ange gets enjoyment from seeing her team succeed with supporting the ParentsNext participants in overcoming their barriers and gaining confidence so together they can make a difference in their lives and the lives of their families.

Careers with NJL
We are always seeking expressions of Interest from qualified trainers (must have current TAE) looking for sessional work & have relevant qualifications for our scope items.
We regularly conduct training from our offices and in remote & regional communities in Far North Queensland and throughout the Northern Territory.
Our trainers enjoy the opportunity to visit some of the remote communities otherwise not accessible for ordinary people & rewarding casual contract rates with additional travel allowance.
